As founder and executive director of the annual Metamorphosis Women’s Conference, Mia Knight Wright has inspired thousands of women to embrace spiritual change and live more fulfilling lives. Speaking from the heart of her own experiences as a wife, mother, current co-pastor and former executive, Mia has the unique ability to connect to women from all walks of life. She has accepted the call to help women develop their self-esteem and self-worth. Metamorphosis is just one of the ways she encourages women to access the tools necessary to bring about the transformation that will help them realize their potential.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Mia embarked on a career in the pharmaceuticals industry where she was highly successful as both a sales professional and training specialist with Astra Merck (now Astra Zeneca) Pharmaceuticals.

In 1999, Mia entered into vocational ministry at The Fountain of Praise where she currently serves as Co-Pastor with her husband and partner in ministry, Pastor Remus E. Wright. Since that time she has continued on a path of success, achievement and faith based empowerment. In 2005, Mia graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

A visible presence in Houston’s Christian community, Mia is frequently seen on the Trinity Broadcast Network - KETH TV 14 Houston, as the host for "Joy in Our Town". She and Pastor Wright are also frequent hosts on Houston’s "Praise the Lord" show.

To the 15,000 members of The Fountain of Praise (grown from 100 members) she is a minister, teacher, organizer, leader, Co-Pastor and First Lady. She also serves as a mentor to women in ministry, helping them to develop their leadership potential through guidance and encouragement. Today, Mia is a highly sought after speaker at conferences, corporate venues and congregations across the country and even across the globe in Africa and South America.
